Go2Web20
Started in mid 2006, Go2Web20.net is a directory of web 2.0 applications and services. Israeli founders Orli Yakuel and Eyal Shahar started the site as a side project to show off their passion for Flash. Their directory of new web startup logos and basic information is nicely designed and fun to navigate. The site has proved to be popular (thousands of visitors every day), which has led the founders to add more logos and upgrade the site.
Go2Web20.net, a directory of web 2.0 applications and services currently has over 1,300 web 2.0 logos on the site. Logos can be organized alphabetically or by date added. When a logo is clicked, basic information of the web 2.0 company comes up and companies also have the option of adding their own code (a video, RSS feed, widget, etc.). In addition to just going down the list of logos, the site can also be navigated by using the search tool or by selecting a tag from a list.
Go2Web20.net uses both Flash and AJAX. It’s really quite fun to click around on all of the different logos. There are so many sites listed that even the most knowledgeable Web 2.0er will find many new sites they didn’t know about before.
